Directions
The Christkndlmarkt is held in the town of Ferdinand, Indiana, located just off of exit 63 on Interstate 64, north on State Road 162, just one hour and 15 minutes west of Louisville, KY and 45 minutes east of Evansville, IN.
Directional signs will be posted to direct you to the six Markt locations: Ferdinand Community Center, 1710 Community Drive; Tri-County YMCA Antiques Markt, 131 East 16th Street; Forest Park High School Practice Gym, Jr. High Gym, Cafeteria, and Lower Commons at 1440 Michigan, Ferdinand Elementary Gym, 402 E. 8th Street; Monastery Event Hall, 840 E. 10th Street; Ferdinand American Legion, 425 Main Street.

Parking
Each of the six Christkindlmarkt sites has parking. The Ferdinand Community Center, the YMCA, and Forest Park High School are within walking distance of each other. Forest Park High School serves as the hub service for the convenient shuttle service. There are two routes, a North Route and a South Route. Guests can catch the shuttle buses at any of the markt sites. Every shuttle bus will return to Forest Park High School, the hub service.
Additional parking can be found along the city streets, at the 5th Street Park just down from the Ferdinand American Legion Markt site on W. 5th Street, and at the 18th Street Park just north of the Ferdinand Community Center, easily within walking distance of the Ferdinand Community Center Markt site, at retail locations in town, and on city streets.
For map of Shuttle and Walking Route click here. Walking from Forest Park High School to the YMCA and from there to the Ferdinand Community Center is quick, easy, and highly encouraged. When leaving Forest Park High School, exit from the lower level, known as the Lower Commons, to take the walkway to the YMCA and/or the Ferdinand Community Center.
The North Route travels from Forest Park High School to the YMCA Antiques Markt to the Ferdinand Community Center and back again.
The South Route travels from Forest Park High School to the Monastery Event Hall and on to the Monastery for tours then to the Ferdinand American Legion and on to Ferdinand Elementary before returning to Forest Park High School.
Guests are advised to make a note of where they have parked as after a long day of shopping, wining and dining, one can forget where one started out.
